Light in the Law

Read:  Psalm 4 / Proverbs 2 / Deuteronomy 17 / Rev. 11

 

Psalm 4:3 ~ But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

Proverbs 2:6,20 ~ The LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding... that thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

Deuteronomy 17:18,19 ~ When he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law...  and it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God. 

Revelation 11:15 ~ The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever.

 

The Lord our God has set apart

The godly who will humbly pray. 

He writes His wisdom on the heart

Of those who fear Him and obey. 

 

The Lord commanded kings to write

And read His Law upon their throne.

So let this likewise be our light

That daily makes His counsel known.
