Why We Worship

Read:  Psalm 60 / Proverbs 7 / Exodus 4 / 1 Corinthians 1

 

Psalm 60:4 ~ Thou hast given a banner to them that fear Thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

Proverbs 7:1 ~ My son, keep My words, and lay up My commandments with thee.

Exodus 4:28-31 ~ Moses told Aaron all the words of the LORD who had sent him... and the people believed: and when they heard... then they bowed their heads and worshiped.

1 Corinthians 1:23,30,31 ~ We preach Christ crucified ... made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption... He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

 

We have a banner to display

As we exalt our Lord and Savior. 

We have a message we convey:

The Gospel of His saving favor. 

 

The reason why we worship now

Is found in Christ's redemption story. 

Our hearts with adoration bow

As we delight to give Him glory.
