Psalm 140:7 ~ O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
Proverbs 28:1 ~ The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
Jeremiah 41:13 ~ Now it came to pass, that when all the people which were with Ishmael saw Johanan [He. Jehovah’s Favor] and all the captains of the forces… were glad.
Romans 15:4 ~ For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
The Lord, the Strength of our salvation,
Is our triumphant, risen Savior.
His Gospel is our proclamation:
In Christ alone is saving favor.
The Scriptures that before were written
Have been fulfilled in Jesus Christ:
The Lamb of God for us was smitten,
And He for us was sacrificed.
