Redeemed and Rescued

Read:  Psalm 107 / Proverbs 05 / Isaiah 53 / John 10

 

Psalm 107:2 ~ Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.

Proverbs 5:7-9 ~ Hear me now therefore… Lest thou give thine honor unto others, and thy years unto the cruel.

Isaiah 53:12 ~ He shall divide the spoil with the strong…  because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

John 10:10,11 ~ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

 

There was no hope (or so it seemed)

Till Jesus came to our defense.

Now by His grace we are redeemed

With every sinner who repents!

 

Because His soul has been outpoured,

We have been rescued in the strife!

Declare the goodness of our Lord

Who for our sake laid down His life!
