Psalm 135:15-18 The idols of the heathen… speak not… see not… hear not… neither is there any breath… They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Ezekiel 43:10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities.
1 Peter 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
The idols neither see nor hear,
And those who make them, to their shame,
Reject the Lord whom they should fear,
And thus, blaspheme our Savior’s name.
Our God has called us to convey
His Gospel that exposes sin
To urge the lost to not delay
To turn to Christ and let Him in.
