Psalm 95:7,8 Today if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your
heart... as in the day of
temptation in the wilderness.
Proverbs 1:32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them,
and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
1 Samuel 25:36-38 Nabal [Heb. fool]... held a feast in his house, like
the feast of a king... And it came to pass about ten days after, that the LORD smote Nabal,
that he died.
John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that
hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
Today if we hear
the Lord's voice,
The right thing to
do is obey.
The wise-hearted
make the right choice;
The heart that is
hard turns away.
Though Nabal's
great wealth was well known,
He loved what he
should have been hating.
He died with a
heart hard as stone,
And judgment for
him was then waiting.
