When Christ Will Come

Read:  Psalm 72 / Proverbs 9 / 1 Samuel 2 /Luke 13 

 Psalm 72:7-9 In his days shall the righteous flourish... He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth… His enemies shall lick the dust.

Proverbs 9:10,12 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom... If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.

1 Samuel 2:10,30 The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces... The LORD saith... them that honor me I will honor, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! 

The enemies of Christ abound,

But soon His foes shall lick the dust. 

In Christ alone is safety found;

In Him we confidently trust. 

When Christ will come for His redeemed,

We'll gladly praise Him as we ought,

But scorners shall not be esteemed

Who should have come, but they would not.
