Faithful Few

Psalm 52:1 Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. 

Proverbs 20:24 Man's goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?

Judges 7:7 The LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men... will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.

Mark 9:7 There was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came... saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

Though evil is on every side,

God's goodness does not ever cease.

Though scorners rise up in their pride,

Our Savior's presence gives us peace. 

The Lord gave Gideon just a few;

He sent back thousands to their place.

Be still and hear what Christ will do

With faithful few who trust His grace.
