He is at Hand

“I will greatly praise the LORD… for He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul” (Psalm 109:31).

I will greatly praise the Lord,

For He is near at hand.

Therefore I shall be restored,

And He shall make me stand.

The Lord is always near to give

The counsel my soul needs.

Because He lives, I also live

To follow where He leads.

Lord, thank You for the confidence

That You’ll defend my soul

Because You stand as my Defense

And died to make me whole.

O Lord, I have no one but You

So able to defend;

For no one loves me like You do,

My Savior and my Friend.
