Crown Crisis

“Children's children are the crown of old men” (Proverbs 17:6).  “Hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown” (Revelation 3:11).

The children’s children, Scriptures say,

Are crowns that old men see in youth.

Let no one take those crowns away:

Now guard and guide them in the truth.

There is a crisis we behold

In children as they’re taught in schools:

If they believe what they are told,

They’re bound to graduate as fools!

The battle ground is in the mind

Of children who are fed with lies.

The blind indoctrinate the blind,

But God yet calls them to be wise.

O Lord, we call upon Your name

To help us reach this generation,

That You may rescue them from shame

And crown them with so great salvation!
