Old but not Obsolete

"Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said we will not walk therein" (Jeremiah 6:16).

Stand in the ways that you may behold;
Ask for the old paths, and there guide your feet.
Walk in the good way, for though it is old,
God has assured us it's not obsolete.

For there is the good way that God has provided,
And this is where we shall find rest for our souls.
Yet many refuse to walk where He's guided,
To walk in their own paths and follow their goals.

Walk in the old paths; come, follow the Lord!
Above every other, His way is sublime.
For He is our Treasure, He is our Reward,
And His way is perfect and tested by time.
