"If Thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared" (Psalm 130:3,4). "Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place: for a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again" (Proverbs 16:15,16).

Against God's fallen child:
There is forgiveness in God's Son;
He shall be reconciled.
For though he fall yet seven times
In sorrow and disgrace,
There is forgiveness for his crimes,
In Christ, his resting place.
