Manifested Mystery

"The God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly... Now to Him that is of power to stablish you according to my Gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, but now is made manifest, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:  to God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen" (Romans 16:20,25-27). 

The myst'ry now has been unveiled

And manifestly is complete:

Our Lord and Savior has prevailed 

By bruising Satan at His feet. 

The secret since the world began,

Throughout the ages prophesied,

Was manifested by God's plan

Fulfilled when Christ our Savior died.  

Our everlasting God made known

This myst'ry by the revelation

Of grace and truth which He has shown

In Christ, who purchased our salvation.

This manifested mystery,

O Lord, by death and resurrection,

Is open now for all to see: 

Your tomb is ready for inspection!
