"Thy hands have made me and fashioned me… Let those that fear Thee turn unto me, and those that have known Thy testimonies" (Psalm 119:73,79). "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend… Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks" (Proverbs 27:17,23). "No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except He will first bind the strong man; and then He will spoil his house… Whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is My brother, and My sister, and mother" (Mark 3:27,35).
The
hands of God have fashioned us
As
His own family and His friends.
We
are by Him victorious
Because
the Lord for us contends.
Let
those who fear the Lord now turn
To
love the Lord and feed His flock,
Though
multitudes around us spurn
The
grace that sinners blindly mock.
Though
our satanic foe is strong,
Who,
as a lion, seeks his prey,
We
trust our Savior all day long
Who
shelters us as we obey.
We
thank You that You came to earth,
O
Lord, so You could thereby fashion
Your
family by the second birth
That
draws us near through Your compassion.
