“Then
Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto Him, Rabbi, (which is to say,
being interpreted, Master) where dwellest Thou?
He saith unto them, Come and see” (John 1:38,39).
What
are you seeking? What is the prize
For
which you are living your life to obtain?
Jesus
our Savior alone satisfies,
And
life without Him is vexatious and vain.
Why
are you seeking? The answer is this:
The
Lord put that hunger for Him in your heart.
Beware,
lest distraction should cause you to miss
The
blessings supreme that our Lord would impart.
Where
are you seeking? There’s only one Place
That
quenches the longings of our thirsty soul:
Our
Lord is the Fountain abounding with grace
And
truth that will justify sinners in full.
O
Lord, we give thanks for the great invitation
To
come and see all of Your fullness supreme
Abounding
in You and Your wondrous salvation,
Which
flows from the Rock as a great desert stream!
