My cry ascended to God’s throne.
When overwhelmed, He knew my path.
When helpless, hopeless, and alone,
He was my Refuge then from wrath.
Praise God! Salvation is revealed
When humble hearts will on Him call.
His mercy has not been concealed,
Which He extends to one and all.
