Real Riches

"There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches" (Proverbs 13:7).

There is one who will make himself rich,
Yet never discovers true wealth.
And soon he is placed in the ditch,
Abandoning riches and health.

There is one who makes himself poor,
Yet finds himself rich indeed;
For great are the riches in store
When Jesus is meeting our need.
